HomeWorks Home Remodeling Software Awarded Silver Davey Award

CALGARY, AB - Calgary based RenoWorks Software & Home Hardware Stores Limited have been recognized by the International Academy of the Visual Arts with a Silver Davey Award for HomeWorks Software.

HomeWorks Software was created for Home Hardware Stores Limited by RenoWorks Software Inc to allow homeowners to try Home Hardware building products on images of their own home, before they buy. This state of the art visualization software allows users to upload interior and exterior photos of their homes and modify them by applying Beauti-Tone paint, flooring, siding, roofing, windows, doors and hardware available from Home Dealers. HomeWorks users have access to more than 2,500 Home Hardware products from more than 30 major building materials manufacturers.

The software comes with a variety of sample projects to help get started and also includes a full range of built-in training materials. HomeWorks empowers users to imagine the possibilities for their project and visualize the finished product.

In addition to the software, the awards recognized a nationally run contest that saw thousands of design ideas submitted by homeowners and over $10,000 in prizes. The Davey Awards exclusively honour the "Davids" of creativity, the finest small firms, agencies and companies in the world. The annual International Davey Awards honours the achievements of the "Creative Davids" who derive their strength from big ideas, rather than big budgets.

The Davey Awards is sanctioned and judged by the International Academy of the Visual Arts, an invitation-only body consisting of top-tier professionals from a "Who's Who" of acclaimed media, advertising, and marketing firms.
