Instructions on how to upload photos to this forum...

Hey everyone, a few people have asked us how you add photos to this forum. Hopefully the following instructions will help.

First you need to upload your pictures to a photo sharing site. All of the ones I know of are free to use for just the basic services. Try visiting www.Photobucket.com. There are other photo sharing sites, but that's the one I use for my personal use. You will need to sign-up for an account, from there the site will guide you on how to upload your pictures. It's pretty easy.

After you upload your picture to a photo sharing site, you will see different kinds of tags/links associated with your picture. You will want to use the "HTML tag" for the purposes of attaching pictures to this forum. Copy the HTML tag from the photo sharing site and then paste that into your message here on this forum with the following image tag texts [img]and[/img] around it:

Example: Name of your Photo [img]Paste HTML tag here with no spaces[/img]

Now submit your forum entry and you should see your photo in the body of your message.

We encourage everyone to submit photos. And if anyone needs further assistance, don't hesitate to ask.

Good luck!

Re: Instructions on how to upload photos to this forum...

Hello Diane,

The best way to send your files to other people  is to save the file in a jpeg format. To do this:

1)  Click on the "Save" Tab
2)  Click on the "Export JPG" function
3)  Save your file, take notice that the file format is saved as .jpg

When you email your project, just attach the file that you saved.  Remember for more visual impact, save a before and after view in JPEG format.

Hope this helps smile
