If you find your finished project does not look realistic, you may need to adjust the shading. This feature is found in the Colours tab of your RenoWorks software. Adjusting the shading will allow you to manage the amount of light and shadows that show through from the original photo.

If you are unsure how to use the shading tool, please refer to the training videos section of this website or the animated tutorials and help files under the Help tab of your RenoWorks software.

Shading is automatically applied to the project as a built-in feature of the software. However, some pictures require more or less shading depending on the colour of the product applied. If you are applying product over a dark wood or paint colour for example, you might need to reduce the amount of shading to prevent the original colour from showing through.
Conversely, if there are a lot of shadows in the photo you can increase the amount of shading to the product to add depth and bring through the original shadows. Shading can be applied to all products, including windows and doors.
