CertainTeed lists 50 shingles per 100 sq. ft. (a roofing square). With 12 shingles per bundle, that’s about 4.167 bundles per square.
The Belmont technical data sheet states wind resistance up to 110 mph with normal installation and 130 mph with special installation. The CertainTeed limited warranty lists a 110 mph wind warranty for eligible lifetime products during the first 15 years, with conditions for a 130 mph upgrade when specified starter and hip/ridge accessories are used and the roof is not a roof-over installation.
Belmont shingles are offered as algae-resistant (AR). CertainTeed’s limited warranty lists a 30-year algae-resistant warranty period for Belmont AR (prorated after 15 years), but the warranty footnotes specify that 25- or 30-year algae coverage requires CertainTeed algae-resistant hip & ridge accessory shingles; otherwise algae coverage is limited to 10 years.
